The company has formulated a DLP Pico chipset which includes an imaging chip and a microprocessor that appropriates top end mobile handsets to cast media files onto a screen. presently on display at the Mobile World Congress 2008, the DLP Pico chipset will consist of the DLP Pico chip and the DLP Pico processor (DDP1500 and DDP1505). as the DPP1500 is targeted at embedded applications for handsets, the DDP1505 will be available as a complete handhold accessory. bearing an aperture ratio of more than 95 percent, the DLP Pico solution offers tens of thousands of pixel elements along with switching speeds of less than 20 microseconds and DarkChip native contrast ratio technology. The chipset also boasts of displaying the widest color gamut along with the flexibility to operate with the latest LED illumination technology.
